Thank you for your interest in hiring a working retiree. This form is solely used to receive a list of retirees interested in coming back to work on a limited-term basis. Departments are responsible for screening, contacting and negotiating with retirees.

Once a retiree is identified, you will need to complete the Working Retiree Questionnaire to initiate the hiring process. Depending on the gap in service, a new background check or updated I-9 may be needed.

Please note: PERA retirees have a 30-day waiting period after the official retirement date before they may resume working for a PERA employer again. PERA retirees are limited to 110 days or 720 hours of work per calendar year.
